Going mad....?

Had my car since middle of Jan and when I press the phone button on the steering wheel it tells me that the phone is unavailable?

Absolutely positive I could phone out from this button a few weeks ago - what's changed??

I can still end calls with this button and my iphone works regardless from either the main screen of the iphone screen itself.

Anybody can you help?

I've had that happen a couple of times and for some reason, the car did not recognize the phone. In each case have had to reboot the Blackberry, then all is well. Just the other day I was listening to a voice message from the BB, and in mid stream, it just shut off and re-booted itself. Battery was fine and I hadn't pressed anything to shut it off.

You should be fine, just make sure all the Bluetooth setups are ok.

This has happened to me a few times recently as well. I'm not sure if it's the car or the phone (Palm Pre). Turning off bluetooth on the phone and forcing it to try and find the car worked after the second attempt. Other BT devices have no trouble being found by the phone... so I'm starting to think it's the car.

I'm not really surprised, although I never had any problems (same phone) with the E92 BT.

Just something similar happened to me the other day. Received a call but I couldn't answer. so the phone went to the Voice mail, but the Car kept ringing continuously without a stop. So I had to pull to the side of the road and switch off the Engine + Ignition.

I'm glad that didn't happen on the Motorway :-)
