BMW Pull Ahead Program? BMW Waives last 3 months on lease

Hi All,

I have heard about a BMW "Pull Ahead Program". This program waives the last 3 months payments of your lease if you get into a new BMW. Does anyone know if BMW is still offering this program?

Thanks!

I don't think so. As far as I can remember that was back in March or April of this year.

Confirmed -- just ordered my new car yesterday, and BMW FS will pick up any remaining payments (up to three) if you turn your car in early. I believe it's limited to 2010 and 2011 MY vehicles, but I'm not 100% certain there. Your CA can fill you in. Works real well if you're picking up off the lot. I'm hoping my new car arrives before my last lease payment is due so I get at least one month's benefit.

Thanks for the update guys. I ordered a 535x drive with msport and it will arrive in the next month. I still have 4 payments left on my 335d so the timing is great.

kube, how do you like the 535 x? I hope I like the big machine.

Love the 535i xDrive.... this will be my 3rd. I do miss the 6-speed manual in my 2008, but the car is still great. All-season tires did well in light snow, but I travel to New England every week in the winter, so I have a second set of 18" rims with snow tires. They got me easily through the winter of 2010/2011 where it snowed every week. Was able to get up my driveway (hill) with about a foot of snow without any problems. Enjoy!

Hey kube,

confirmed as well, I am going to pick up a 535 x this week and three months payments are waived. Bonus is 1K off the price with the first and goal deal too.

sorry to resurect an old thread, but they are offering this again right now and I am going to dump my 550i in favor of an M5 or M6GC.

The rules are that you must purchase or lease a new or certified BMW through BMW financial services and they will waive up to three payments.

My question is: how long do I have to keep the loan through BMWFS and is there a prepayment penalty for paying off early and switching to a cheaper loan rate?

There definitely is no prepayment penalty or required term you must keep the loan for pull ahead. HOWEVER, pull ahead is usually not eligible towards the purchase/lease of an M model.

There is no prepayment penalty. To participate, the dealer must buy your car from BMW. I just did this, trading a leased 328i for a 528i. I initially thought "waived payments" meant that BMWFS simply ends the lease up to 6 months early, but it was more complicated since the dealer has to participate by taking the car as a trade-in. My car was very well equipped in a desirable color with low miles, so the dealer in Clearwater participated. My local dealer in Sarasota was less willing as they had excess used 3-series on the lot and the Naples dealer would not even acknowledge the program existed from BMW. It all comes down to the spread between wholesale value and lease buyout on your 550i, then finding a volume dealer to participate. Fun game.
