New to me 2013 Bmw 550XI CPO

I am picking it up next week.

2013 Bmw 550 X-Drive with 50,000KM build date: 2012-08-28. I have the CPO for 1 year half which was requirment as i understand the motors sometimes can be plagued with some issues. ( my brother has a 750 which had the care package completed) This car has also had the care package completed. I am excited and somewhat nervous but i don't keep my car longer then 3 years. SO i hope i didn't plague myself. The car was a one owner, and always dealer maintained

The Car is Carbon Black Metallic it's growing on me - M package, Tech Package, Executive Package, Bmw Apps, Comfort Seats, Active Seats, 4 zone climate, Lane Departure, Lane warning, HUD, and Fireline Anthracite Trim.

Sorry for the bad photos from the dealer! I look forward to picking it up next week.

I think the first things on the list:
Tint- 20% all the way around
Open Exhaust Flap
Coding- Nav Update, and some other features to turn on
Change the Grille, conflicted to Matt Black, Chrome surround Black fins, High Gloss Black, or the new M Dual fin design.

IF anyone has any recommendations on some items i should add to my list?

Congrats on the ride!! Seems like you're on the right track with those mods you listed! Post more pics as you progressive with the mod bug

I got the matte black grille on mine but had been considering the gloss back single slat grilles lately lol. Oh and also look into swapping out those color reflectors to color matched ones.

Congrats! Nice pick up! Definitely go dual gloss black slats as well as painted front reflectors. Just gives it nice clean look. It'll compliment the tint as well.

Congrats! Do 550s not have auto stop start? not that I use it, but that's the difference I notice.

Welcome and sweet ride. Another suggestion for mod is reflector deletes. Front/Rear bumper and side marker. I got all mine from IND-distributions.

For some reason his doesn't have the on/off option. I'm pretty sure the '11's also lack the on/off function.

You're saying your '11 had the on/off function? I have a friend whose '11 535i didn't have the on/off button; both my '12 & '14 do...

+1 for the front and rear reflectors. Also for consideration - replace the side markers and front/black roundels (also from IND) and debadging the trunk

Speaking of Canadian when I took a vacation up in Edmonton and Jasper I swear my freaking cousin would talk to me and for a second I thought he was going retarded and after every sentence he would end it with like a question. "Hey Cuz after we eat breakfast we're going to take you to the mall EH? And than after that we could take you to the City EH? And after that we'll take you to the Mountains EH?" Awesome guys thanks for all the posts!! I am not sure if it has the on off feature. I bought the car over the phone and go to pick it up next week

. I don't think it does have it though since i do not see it on the dash. Unless you can tell from the Vin:

As well i am going to go with the dual fin high gloss black, where did you purchase yours? I heard i should stay away from the cheap Ebay ones as they will chip easy?

As for the all the side markers and rear reflectors delete did you do the tinted black ones or color matched?

Well i can't be a Canadian without ending it with an EH! haha

Any other 550 owners on here, Any preventive things i should do to make sure me and the N63 motor do not have problems. I will be doing oil changes every 9000KM. What do people think of a oil catch can?

Congrats - I have a 2013 F10 with two fewer cylinders but with the same exterior and interior and most of the same features. I picked mine up at Elite BMW. I'm a little surprised that yours does not have the auto stop/start, but your dash picture certainly shows that you do not have the button below the Start button that disables the auto stop/start. Definitely do the colour-matched front reflector replacement. I just did mine and I should have done it a long time ago - it is very easy to do. I'm not a fan of the blacked-out look, but I do like the black fins on the front grills with the chrome surround. Another great upgrade is changing the headlight switch to the European version with the rear fog light button. This will activate your rear fog lights with no other work required, and it is very useful in fog and heavy rain. The trick is to only use it when you need it or you'll piss off everyone behind you. This feature is a mandatory requirement in Belgium for good reason.

Regarding the 'Eh', thing, yes I'm also guilty as charged. Then again, all y'all down south have distinct speech patterns too, dontchaknow. That's what I'm talkin' 'bout.

Where did you buy your reflectors? I know i was going back fourth between the all black or the black fins with chrome surround. Maybe the 550 doesn't come with start and stop?

Strange, it works for me. Those are slip-on covers for the gas and brake pedals. M-looking :-)
