My F10 523i

Thought I would share some pics of my rather rare F10 523i which I picked up from my local dealer a few weeks ago.
After being rather harsh about the F10 (on previous forums), I cannot believe how much I am enjoying it and actually love it! It reminds me so much of my E39’s, (which is a good thing!).

A massive improvement in both build quality and looks over the E60 in my opinion.

I love the Oyster interior too; makes it very light and airy. I don’t think I would buy a car with black leather again.

The N53 3.0 litre petrol engine is plenty powerful for me too, (and that’s coming from an M3!).

The flakes in the Sophisto Grey Metallic (A90) just look amazing! What a colour!

Interesting ... "being harsh". I'm curious.

I'm not surprised in how you now feel, after living with an F10 for a while.

I rate the F10/11 as being up there with the E39. Obviously some differences, but have similar reminders driving the F11, after having an E39 touring.

The 523i will be rare, just as my 535i is rare in the UK. Nothing like the petrol inline six for the good old BMW feel. I've also got Sophisto Grey, great in the sunshine, shame it (just like many other colours) looks flat in dull light.

Enjoy the car!

Thanks all.

Pete - thanks; yeah, I always thought the F10 looked a bit podgy, but the more I look at it, the more I love it (never liked the styling of the E60). So many little things remind me of the E39, such as the 351M wheels; the front end styling and the dash which is angled slightly towards the driver.

Just am amazing car!

I would have loved a 535i (or a 550i!), but it just didn't make sense for me as I was downsizing from a M3 (performance wise).
