I did see the 3,000 dollar option allowance which is up from 1,500 so that is nice but the gentleman I have been dealing with at BMW said the residuals took a beating with the new programs that just rolled out. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that? I checked "ride with g" but they are not posted yet. I was also told the pull ahead program was discontinued as well. Not sure on that either though? I was so close to getting out of my car early and into a 550 but now I'm not so sure it makes sense.

Last time I check the residual and base rate for the 2012 550i in July is

3 years, 15K miles each year, 51% residual, and 0.00145 base rate.

Basically the residual is lower now, but the base rate is also lowered.
