Exclamation Fuel Level Sensor recall

Received a letter from MBWNA.

Recall No. 10V-331. Fuel level sensor recall on certain models of year 2010-11, 5 series and 5 series Gran Turismo vehicles.

Until you get it fixed fill up every 200 miles or less.

My F10 535i was delivered June 19, 2010.

Yeah, got the same letter today. Although my car hasn't exhibited any malfunctions, I already made an appointment to have this taken care of. The letter says it takes an hour, the dealer says it takes 1/2-1 day.

My 550i just finished production on 10/19/2010. It is still waiting for a vessel at the port in Germany. I hope they have this addressed so I don't have to get this fixed once I received my car.

Got my letter today. Haven't noticed any issue with the fuel gauge so far.

I cannot believe this is just a problem on American cars. However I have had mine since May and have not seen anything wrong to date. Will ask my dealer next visit. Thanks for info.
