K&N intake experiences?
I like the idea of the intake effectively making the air box larger. Seems like it would also be easier to add a second inlet like the AFe has. I just can’t see the BMS filter sucking up all the hot air under the hood. Seems like it is just making the intercooler deal with hotter air than necessary. Especially for us in the southeastern US.

I bought and sold a BMS within a yr. it sounds GREAT but that's all it does make noise. I feel the 535 doesn't have efficient grill intake scoops & no company makes them for us. The intake box sits deep and low & is surrounded by extremely hot air. Might be nice in extreme cold weather but 70 & up there is massive heat in the engine bay. I'm running a K&N drop in just because it flows better than OEM no performance gains. Afe & K&N systems are still STOCK setups if you think about it - it's a closed box with a filter. I would like larger scoops .... best intake mod is a new intercooler which is the air intake side of the turbo. The air box is just the blade side & filters are there for safety preventing crap from hitting blades. It's all for noise
