On NBT, you require FSC code.
You get
internet radio (listen to any country in the world)
facebook
tweeter
Calender
Wiki

and few other useless stuff.

I think DAB or internet radio is enough to entertain you.
Best part is when you update your facebook status from your car so it shows that it has been done from your bmw car!

Not really useful though.

I've got all those anyway so Apps must be included in Pro Media. I don't have Internet though but that probably needs an FSC code too.

In that case you have 6NR. Is that included in your VO?

For bmw internet, you can only order it when you order the car.

Aftermarket method is to code it and other bits enabled via phone tethering. Perhaps a good idea when your 3 years subscription runs out.

Hello all. Newbie here. I am new to BMW having had Audis for years but bit the bullet on a new f11 520d m sport. Absolutely love it but realise that I should have specced the enhanced bluetooth to get the mobile office to work with my bberry.

I have professional media and am not bothered about having the mount in the centre armrest, it seems the bluetooth has the a2dp protocol as I can easily connect my ipad over bluetooth and play music via bluetooth and get album art this way too I think. (Although can't recall if I only got the album art through the cable)

Reading these forums it seems this could be as simple as changing some codes 6n? To 6ns?

Can anyone confirm this should be possible with a Nov2014 model? Seems the combox is now already built in to the head unit.

I have some experience of coding Audis via vagcom but seems I need enet cable and esys software and various keys for bmw. Can anyone recommend where this can be purchased/ downloaded?

Any help would be most apreciated and would make an almost perfect car much closer to perfection.

I am tempted to try and enable SLI on my F10. Although I do not have LDW I do have high beam assist and my car is one of the first F10's and my understanding is that for a short period of produciton cars with only HBA had the KAFAS camera.

It seems this is as simple as adding SLI to the Vehicle Order and seeing if it works. I've got E-Sys and a cable.

However I'm concerned about what happens if it goes wrong and perhaps flags up fault codes. With my E39 I quite easily read and reset fault codes using INPA but I have no such software to do this with the F10 - whats the best way to get this ability?

GSPANNU - I'm near Southampton and have a couple of mods I hope you could help me with, namely the Enhanced Bluetooth enablement.
I have a '13 520d facelift, Pro Nav and have confirmed the features can be enabled.
Fancy another job early January?

Makkan, the DTUK people are just round the corner from me but I'm holding out for a remap. I was talking to Farakh from emaps and he confirmed what has already been mentioned on here about them getting the gear to remap F series cars early on in the year to do some R&D work.

I had an emaps remap on my last 320D after trying a spider tuning box and was really impressed with their work.

Yes, can code any F series. Your list is not clear as to what you would like to be done.

I hope you are aware that unless you have the minimum hardware; coding will not enable any features.

Hi all, I'm new to this forum but not to BMWs, on my fifth in a row and this one, 520d owned (or should I say driven) by me from new as of July 2014. I stretched my budget as far as I could to specify it with what for me were the essentials, including pro media.
As many others like me have since discovered £1200 for the pro media doesn't get you SMS or email notifications on I drive, but we have discovered that it can be coded in under enhanced Bluetooth.
I can live without it but we all like our toys, all I would need then would be for someone to start emailing/texting me, ha. Also since reading posts on this and other forums my list of things I now realise I can't live without is increasing exponentially.
The problem is I am unable to locate anybody in the North West who could do this for me, I am willing to travel and pay.
Does anyone know anyone who is able to code EBT and many many other options in the North West?
Any help greatly appreciated.

There is no list (as far as I am aware) to identify features that can be enabled without hardware.

However, this document here contains some of the things that can be coded on the F10. It is a great reference sheet.

If your looking for a remap on the F series get in touch with DMS Automotive. They can remap anything. Not only that their remaps are individual to your cars set up. Not some generic rubbish. But it is pricy.
