[F11Black]

Anyone seen an F10 with Everest grey leather? Thinking of ordering an F11 520d in Sapphire Black with Everest interior, but haven't seen any pictures with that leather yet. Does anyone have this on any BMW?

Black exterior with black leather is too much black, oyster is too light so thought Everest was the best option

I wanted to order everest grey on my F10, but the dealer advised me not to, and went for
Oyster/ black instead

if you check a 7 series with everest grey , it will give you a good idea on how it looks like

Thanks for the info. Why did the dealer advise against Everest grey in your case? Was it a poor match for the paintwork colour you had chosen or did it cause a delay in the time to build the car?

I have ordered the F10 with Everest Gray, for the same reason, that it is darker, but not black. I think it will be a very nice match with the Sophisto Grey exterior, but since I have not seen any other reference to this color, I am also very interested in other opinions.

No it was not any poor matches, for some reason he said that the grey was not a nice colour,

In the showroom there was an all black interior and an Oyster /black interior demo cars,

Now as I am spending so much money on a vehicle, and with the possibility that he would be right, I ordered an Oyster / black version , that I think was very nice. in fact nicer than the all black version,

Something else I also noticed, that may be relevant, in the UK almost all (70%) used GT versions or demo models are Oyster/ black , also by visiting other dealers their interior selection on the demo saloon F10 , where either all black or Oyster/ black,

If the color does not look good as a color, I see a problem.
There is also the issue that I have heard, and mentioned here, that most buy black or Oyster, and that can effect the value later.
But as I see it, it could easily be the other way around, that you get a more unique car, that at least someone like me, will be willing to pay extra for buying a used car, but only if the color looks good...

So if someone has seen a live car with Everest Grey, please post your comments.

Found a photo of an Everest Grey 7 series interior here. Looks fine to me.



I also saw a sample of the Everest grey leather at the dealers, but it was quite a small rectangle from the colour match drawer, not on a car

I think that BMW builds all the launch dealer cars the same. The dealer I went to also had a sapphire black and black dakota car and a space grey and oyster dakota car as demonstrators. Perhaps there will be a surplus of these cars in a few years time?

Think I'll stick with the Everest grey, it should go nicely with the black sapphire metallic paint.

I also found this photo, along with one other I think. But as you see from the outside part of the picture, there is something wrong with the colors. I think it looks better in real life. I will also stick with it, but still would like to hear from someone that has seen a "complete sample" live.

I made these today. Taken i sunlight and color adjustet, so it should be fairly close to the right colors. Maybe it helps others to decide.

I figured out the leather but the car colors are a bit more challenging......can you designate colors in English....thanks

Sophisto Gray
Imperial Blue

Those are the ones I am considering, with either Everest Grey og Cinnamon

It is not called Sophisto Gray in the US, it is called Dark Graphite Metallic, both share the same paint code though - A90

Cinnamon Leather with Havana Metallic Paint would be Da Bomb. Undoubtedly very rare and very cool in the opinion of this architect.

Hi all,

today i've seen my car at the dealer for the first time.

It arrived yesterday evening.
I hope to get it next week

The things i've seen and hear about the color didn't put me off.
In fact a sales person (stupid girl) just told me it would not fit the car, but if it would make me happy she would add it to my orderlist

Needless to say she did not get the order!
Other salesmen also told me to think it through and carefully consider other colours. I did, but came back to liking the same colour.
Like it or not, it's up to the one making the choice and it should be left to the person.
I also think that most sales persons do not have an idea which colour it has if they show you it from the samples they have from the 5-GT.

I have seen the Grey in a 750i. This post is exactly right. It is prefectly pleasant but no "wow" or "pop". I like it in darker environments. In daylight it looks -wait for it- grey.

I pick up my 550i tomorrow, well in 8 hours ... its sapphire black with black leather and anthracite headliner, I can post a pic in the thread when I get done if its what your looking for.

If your wonder why so black ... been owning light leathers and cars for years and really dont like them anymore. I am ecstatic about the thought of an all black car, cant wait to get my winter rims, will definitely be ... black!

I've been in several of these both from dealer stock and BMW Ultimate Drive cars. It is killer. The light color seats peeking out through the windows as you walk up to the metallic black is stunning. Inside is equally stunning. Hitting the accelerator (535 or 550) is also stunning.

From the sample the Everest Gray looks like the inside of a Dodge Ram.
