Thumbs down Why do I have to lose 1/3 of my GPS Screen just to know what street I'm on?

Does this bother anyone else? Why can't they just display your current street on the bottom of the GPS screen? Instead, you have to do a split screen and lose 1/3 of your screen so it will tell you your current street. I don't care about my latitute/longitude/altitute. Just tell me my darn street

Yes, it bothers me. A lot about the nav implementation bothers me. Such as, why can't the spoken directions tell you what you're turning onto? Instead of "prepare to turn right". It should say "prepare to turn right onto Elm st." Sounds like a small difference, in reality it is a big one.

Also, why must you chose to sacrifice 1/3 of your screen to see exit info on the main display? If I don't want it popping up on the on-dash display, it should show an overlay / blowup on the main display. After all, that's what just about every other Nav system does.

Yes that second part you mentioned bothers me as well. I have voice turne off as they usually just annoy me. Luckily I have the HUD so it gives me the directions on the windshield at all times. I do LOVE that feature

While HUD is nice, one should not have to order it to have a fully functional Nav system. I do not in my Acura and it gives me more info than the one in my F10.

The most annoying part of the voice system to me is that it tells you to “keep left” for every interstate exit. Does anyone know if there’s any way to change that?

Thanks -
