Was your wheel heated before ? I'm considering getting one of these from Ledermanz as well, but would like to understand this before I commit to purchase.

My steering wheel is heated, and while I don't care if I lose that feature, I'm concerned that I might get bunch of error codes after I instal the wheel that doesn't have a heating module in the wheel ? I understand that heating button will be useless, but am worried about potential codes being thrown and trip to the dealer.

Yes that's the non sport standard steering wheel in before photos and yes I also had the heated steering wheel feature, this new steering doesn't have the heating and no error codes popped up after the install, was all plug and play.

Just installed one last week for my wife's F10 base model. We opted for the standard M-sport look (round w/ thumb knobs) wrapped in thick Napa leather. Multi function buttons and airbag transferred over perfectly. Install took a whole 15min. Quality is top notch and price was dirt cheap for what it is.

i'm looking for one with the flat bottom wrapped partly in alcantara and leather with some cool stitching! my steering wheel looks like it belongs in a ford focus

LOL. That's funny because ours was the same. Felt like my old Honda Civic. This was the guy from Latvia. I was a little weary at first but when it arrived in about a week and I had it installed, it was much nicer than my OE M-sport wheel in my car. I know he had a flat bottom version with M colored stitching for the same price but I think someone already snagged it up. It's one of the best upgrades I've made for the wifey's car.

damn that's cheap! i have the non m steering wheel so i have to find one that uses that same airbag. how did you pull that up on ebay?

This is for the non m steering wheels. All you do is swap over your existing controllers and airbag. Before I found this I priced out a m sport wheel, airbag and controllers and you're looking at over $800 for used ebay stuff, not to mention the coding involved. BTW, no coding necessary for this wheel and although it says remanufactured, the leather is brand new. Good luck.

got an email back from Ledermanz and $500 shipped to my door i get this style 1st picture but i'm going black alcantara around the wheel...red stripe on the top...black leather on bottom and middle...similar to the bottom picture.

Good choice my man. I think these look better than the lci m-tech steering wheels.

How many Louie's does she already have? If it's more than 3 then it justifies you having 1 steering wheel of LV quality ... which by the way must be considered as a family safety measure due to the ergonomic grip for safer turning and perforated leather for breathability so your hands don't get sweaty and slip when the air con is heating up during cooler months

she's got 4 Louie's with matching wallets which BTW sometimes cost more than the damn bag

and it doesn't help when the damn sales lady says "well you can't buy the Bag without buying that matching wallet?" (While looking at me and not her) Fair is fair tho!

I have not used him (I like my LCI M Sport wheel), but many on the forums, like lsturbointeg have with a high level of satisfaction.

that's why you use PayPal! it protects both the seller and the buyer. have you never bought anything on the internet

His concern is making payment as "Send money to friends and family" versus "Pay for goods or services", as he has no PayPal Buyer protection the first way.

That said though, given Ledermanz good reputation, I would not worry about it myself with him.
