F10 550i Engine INTERNALS

Hi Guys, I have just taken delivery of the f10 550i M Sport, here in the UK they are working on cracking the ECU ( unlike Dinan with their BOX of tricks) this could take another two months so I am told.
Anyway the point of the post is: Does anyone know if the Engine internals are the same as the Xm5/6 or what?.
Anyone.

Cracking the ECU, means understanding the protocols and interrogating the ECU, then applying a program of proper fuelling and valve timing along with boost ect.
All cars from the factory run rich among other things, this is due to the wide differences in fuels throughout the world.
Once a Map has been tested and perimeters set up for a good grade of fuel, the car will run very smooth and have power.
This is a much better and safer way of preserving your engine.

There's also the insurance question. Worst case scenario - total the car along with third party damage/injury/death, without having declared the modification. Then you have no cover.

Well software updates would remove the map, but it's just a matter of reloading if thats not to inconvenient, I have remapped all my cars and never needed a remap replacing.
I think Updates on software are (here anyway) something dealerships avoid unless absolutely necessary, it takes soooo long on the computer.
Warrantee that's between you and the dealership and your relationship with them.

well you should declare it on the insurance to be safe, it's extra cost it not to expensive.
It depends what you want from the car really.
