528i buying advice

A friend of mine is looking to purchase a 528i.

We are currently looking at these two vehicles. The km's are a bit high but i think the price seems to be reasonable. haven't driven either of them yet but we will be doing that soon!

Looks like both cars have premium package and Nav.

Anything we should be looking for? There will still be warranty remaining so not to worried about mechanical issues.

Both of your choices look good. The only option that would sway me in one direction (and I did not see it listed on either car) is the Dynamic Handling Package (DHP) which includes both the dynamic dampers / shocks, and active roll stabilization. Have you driven one yet?

Thanks for the reply! Haven't been to drive either of them yet but will definitely inquire about DHP.

I'm selling my 2011 550i xdrive if you are interested. I am in Ontario thou so that might be an issues. But I do have warranty till 160K km.

thats not high mileage.

I recommend you look into the 2011 528i. it came with the older naturally aspirated inline 6. much more reliable then the 2012+ turbo 4 and sounds great.

also very cheap.

I rented a 528 while traveling one time. It was such a dog, no motor at all. I would say choose a model with a bit of HP or at least give it some thought.
