What affects the 4-yr maintenance plan
Hi all, I'm planning to purchase a 2012 535i and i have plans for some mods. I talked with dealers about the mods but they spoke in vague terms and i can't quite get grasp the truth since they are eager to sell the car. So I'm wondering if you guys can help out here. I'm new to here and have tons to learn from you guys. feel free to point anything out
The car has about a year of manufacturer mainenance/warranty, I understand that changing aftermarket parts only void that particular part's warranty. However, what i'm concerned about is the consequences on the maintanence plan or potentially other problems. Here's are the mods i have in mind: -full body kit-front&rear bumpers, side skirts and front fenders, kidney grills -remus quad tip exhaust -kw v2 suspension -stoptech front&rear rotors -painting the calipers -20'' wheels with michelin ps a/s wheels Thanks y'all! |

Simply suspension, fog lights, bumpers, exhaust, wheel sensors, alignment, brakes, etc all void. Along with whatever creaks and sounds that may come with aftermarket install. Annual maintenance like oil changes will be fine. If all this is done at BMW then all warranties are good. Some people have done mods successfully and others have had issues. I guess I'm being vague also.
