Exclamation 2010 5 series (F10) bumper design revealed!

Glad the kidneys aren't quite as big as the new 7-series.

Name: bumper.jpg

Reminds me of when the new 7 series bumper was leaked onto ebay

Thanks for posting, looks like its going to be a conservative evolution in the design to bring it in line with the rest of the new BMWs..

Are you alleging that this bumper is the F10 (5 Series) bumper? Why is the thread titled F01?

And for what it is worth, I prefer the big kidney design and I think the F10 will share this architecture similar to the coming F12 and conversely F01...

There's a strong emphasis on width. Should be interesting.

hmm....

looks like this....

I believe, they WILL go the 4DR COUPE route for the 5, if they REALLY are scrapping the CS (PRODUCTION)
http://f10.5post.com/forums/attachme...1&d=1217168610

the rear might look something like this...
but tail lights like the CS, e90 (LCI), new 7

im not 2 sure about the side shadow lines.... i think they'll go a different route

I hope they make it bigger than the current one at least as big as A6....more elegant and stuff....top M5 around 600horses and 550i with 500horses , a diesel with over 400horses and much more torque like 800Nm , more luxurious and more expensive...

I like the fact that the flagship model - the 7 - has the biggest grilles, whereas, the 5 features better distinguished/curvier headlights and bumper.

Offtopic: I seen the new 7 the other day. It was wet/windy/dark outside but still looked really good. I'm sure in better conditions it would grab my eye more compared to the S-class and A8. Well done BMW.

yeah the 5 is always different from the 3 and 7. The 3 is usually picked from the 7 a bit. 5 is usally really different. I think it will be a bit bigger or have the look. I almost cant tell the difference sometimes from the a6 and a8 cuz of how big the a8 is (until i actually check out the rear, or wheels, or stair at the front for some good time lol).

the e60 took some time to grow on me. I turned down a second hand 545i for my e90 330i. Right now, I say I should have went for the that 5, but i still love the overall sportier look of the 3. I alway ssay, bmw will do a great job.

They have yet to make anythin worst... the x3 sucks, but the next one will be better.... i mean.. .look at the new 7 and the new z4. Come one, the new 5 WILL be hot.

Ok lots wrong with either that bumper or that concept car.

The roundel on the bumper is a Z4 thing that I have not seen on a BMW sedan. This is going to have a very strong effect on the headlights of the new f10.

I do not think this is the f10 bumper.

or maybe this? but definitely not that look for below the tail lights, im sure its going to look like the concept cs bumper, especially for new m5.

i really dont know what to expect on the sides.. i do know what NOT TO EXPECT:
SIDE SHADOW LINE LIKE THE 3
REAR LOOKING LIKE THE E92 OR X6
ANYTHING FROM THE FRONT OF THE LCI 3 AND THE NEW Z4.

I love Bangle butt and they should stay in the 5er. It gives the car more important and muscular look.

Well the E39 and E46 front look similar in comparison, especially from the eyes of non-enthusiasts.
