As promised, 5-Series striptease continues, this time with the F11 Wagon

BMW has been driving these final stage production 5 series vehicles around Germany to show off to the spy photographers, and they have come through! This time the lenses have caught the wagon variant which is under the chassis code of F11. Rumors of the 5-series wagon's death were grossly overestimated The body lines on this car are by far the most sporty 5-series wagon i've ever seen!

this is beyond retarded. a GT and a wagon? *sighs*

they should just kill the entire GT idea. the wagon however is sure to look great. i have always hated wagons, but BMW knows how to do them right.

i dont know bro, but it breaks my cholesterol infused heart. The day i saw the GT i was in a mode of depression for a week plus! it was even more dissapointing than the new E class from MB.

AHHH and now the 3 GT?!
MAKE IT STOP

if you boys at bmw are reading this, remember to question yourself with this everytime you are about to undertake a task:

what would Bangle do?

One question arises with this GT is, "Is the 5 series touring wagon not good enough?"

Answer - The future 5 series wagon, F11, has the essential components a wagon should have. But the purpose of the 5 series GT is to give more legroom, headroom and elbowroom to make the passengers feel as comfortable as possible during a long ride. Surely the 5 series wagon can also be a GranTourer, but we like to think of the wagon as a practical short distance vehicle - grocery shopping, taking the kids to soccer/hockey practice. The GT also provides more cargo space than the 5 series wagon.

Compare the GT to an X6, not the car itself but the "idea". It's for someone with no family but wants a spacious yet sporty car. We want the GT to handle as sporty as possible but with the luxuries, comfort and space from a LWB 7 series, something a F11 cannot deliver.
