Barely camo'd black F10 BMW 5-Series now caught driving on the streets (10/26)

As reported on 5post homepage.

The guys over at autowereld.com have snagged some new photos of the same black F10 previously caught hiding behind a fenced BMW lot (http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=314317). But now the car is on the roads, and is looking low slung and sleek. The sleekest midsize sedan I've ever seen to be honest. Expect some more camo to some off next week!

It's just about the same size as the outgoing 5-series (E60), so not it's not as big as a 7 series. Did you expect a midsize sedan to be the same size as a 3-series?

And I don't see anything sleek about the front end of this car. The whole thing just looks so damn boring. Where's the excitement?

Headlights look a lot better than the 5-series GT. Also, did the wheel base get longer? It seems a little bigger than the current E60.

Looks great, the front headlights are going to be massively wide. Kind of the 1series, but not so high and definitely longer. The side is much more clear now as well, only the rear is a total (almost) unknown, with just suspected mix between 7 series' and the 3series restyling L.

Ah, anad agreed about the wheelbase, Zell...

BTW, anyone Dutch around here?

Would be interesting if could translate the article, especially the part where it talks about the engines (the 4 cylinders?)

In first pic headlights looks like on X6, damn that beautiful.. Even with chrome-line, car looks just fantastic..

Here are the physical dimensions (including wheelbase) compared

F10 dimensions length: 190.6 wheelbase: 116.5 Width: 72.8 Height: 57.2

The wheelbase of the F10 is longer than the E60 by about 3 inches. Welcome change to me since the longer wheelbase + same length dimensions = shorter overhangs.

I like how when the flame surfacing came out, everyone bitched about it being too much. Now when its toned down people bitch about it being too boring.

IMO it looks better than the new E-class.

I was a little uncertain about the headlight shape with elongated pointy corner light from the previous white color F10 5er spyshots. This new set of image showed the headlight better from all angles.

Contrary to some comments on how plain and boring F10 is going to look, this is going to be the most sleek BMW yet if detail is being noticed. For example, there are two slight curvatures on the front bumper (around headlight washer jet) below the headlight with some shadowing accent.

Could this be an "L" long wheel base version? In some earlier pics the rear doors look shorter in length. Of course it could be the camo...
