Looking to buy new desktop and laptop..

I'm looking to buy a new desktop for work/gaming and a laptop for school..while gaming lol

. It doesn't have to be top notch technology but something a little above average for gaming purposes. Any suggestions as to the holiday deals? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Ahh I c, please share whatever you find =] I'm looking to buy the laptop as soon as this weekend and maybe the desktop as well if I could find a killer deal.

Maybe go with a powerful desktop and a netbook for school, providing you're really only using the laptop for school stuff. There's no reason to have a 10lb 17" monstertop if you're just taking notes and browsing the web.
