so many good fights that night, must have been hard to pick FON. Thompson need to work on his ground game and this kid could be scary, Matt Brown said he was completely out at least twice during the fight, dude has some heart to be able to push through and come out w/ the win. Felt bad for Miguel, Michael just ran through him, had a feeling this was how it was going to go though. Eddie Yagin vs Mark Hominick was also good, but I thought Mark won the fight. The two HW also looked great, Njokuani vs Makdessi wasnt as good as I thought it would be but still a good fight

Yeah, Thompson NEEDS TDD and be able to get back on his feet. He gassed BAD when he got taken down. Rory's standup was ok but once he's got you on the ground, it'll be impossible to get back up. some vicious GnP.

Brendan trying to hug air was pretty brilliant after the TKO Sucks that Torres lost. After so many wars, his chin is gone..... Traves is a scary beast..... he should definitely get a top 10 opponent in his next fight.

Disappointed with JDS v Mirr though but there aren't too many other options.

lol yea, I felt bad for him. He is very talented but has no chin what so ever. He tends to do the same thing, he hurts you, then goes in all reckless and gets KOed. He needs to be more technical when he has someone hurt. He's Brandon Vera part 2, lots of talent but he's never going to go anywhere

same here, I thought if it went to a decision, it was going to be Rashad winning but Jones played it safe for the most part. Hope this isnt the beginning of him GSPing fights

LOL he is vera v2!!! funny and a bit sad really. I could cut to lhw, his size and speed would work well for him there.

Jones will not be a GSP style guy. It just won't happen. Granted, he did play safe against Suga but why wouldn't he? Rashad is the only guy that's had experience against him and knew some of his holes. You have to play safe and respect the guy infront of you when you know he knows ur shit lol xD

So I take it you were the doctor who examined him and determined he didn't have an injury at the time?

I think Hector will walk through Stann, KO/Submission. I think it will come down to experience and him being on another level.

Have any you guys seen any of his previous fights? Check out some of his highlight reels, he's a nasty finisher. Stann will be a bigger test for him though.

Not taking anything away from Lombard, but in the last 2 years all he fought were "B" class fighters. The biggest name he fought (IMO) was Mousasi, but that was back in 06 and he lost.

Stann will be a test for him in his first UFC fight, and the step up in competition will be good for him.
