They look like Pirelli Sottozero Serie II winter tires. http://www.us.pirelli.com/web/catalo...pe=CAR-SUV-VAN

Alright, I think I figured it out. The tires on the car on the lift are Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D RunOnFlat and tires on the car driving are Pirelli Winter 240 Sottozero Serie II RFT.

The tire on the car in the first photo (on the jack) looks like Dunlop Winter Sport 3D.

IMHO, I still think those long overhangs kill the sporty look of the new car...this is nowhere near as sporty looking as the e39 and e60.

I like the early test mule wheels a LOT more. And those tires don't seem that wide.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

why are they even testing winter tires? Thats our job, lol.

The car won't be sold with winter tires, so unless theyre doing this to figure out which winter tire package to sell through the stealerships...?

By the way thats the most exposed hood pics we have seen thus far.
