Wow, Why did the roof collapse like that? It does not look like a very safe car. The pillars kept their shape but the roof just collapsed completely.

Looks to me like the firefighters cut the roof to free the occupants. That's why the roof seems to have caved in.

the roof was probably cut off to get the people out.

That is a tarp covering the car, not airbags.

I wonder why the roof was cut. The damage to the rest of the car (that's showing at least) is not even that bad. If the roof was not cut, it would have definitely been fixable...

It seems like the roof was cut with all 4 doors open too since the window frames on the doors are still perfect while the A, B and C pillars are all cut.

What???? It's the new 5 series aka F10. This is "5"post...not "7"post. Get it now.

On a side note, RIP to the car. Hope all occupants are safe.

no matter how safe the car, it is designed to meet specific types of crash standards... (which as in hte video Mark shows it performs superb)

..I dont know if any tests look at rollover and inversion... rollover prevention but not survival post rollover

That is so cool - you can actually see the LEDs in the angel eyes and turning signals refresh.

Let's just hope that the occupant(s) ended up better than the car.
