Anyone driven a post-LCI 330d and a 530d
Has anyone driven both the 330 diesel and F10 530 diesel?
How did you find the driving experience? Do you notice the extra approx 200kg weight of the new F10 over the 3-series? How about the interior of the two? |

I have owned the 330d lci automatic and I have just ordered the 530d without test driving it. the numbers of the 530d are in the region of the 535d e60 and I believe one can't go wrong with the combo. I know the engine from teh 330d and that was a blast to drive. the 530d is about 0,3s slower from 0-60 (330d: 6s, 530: 6.3s) and the 0,2s slower from 50-75(330d: 4,8s; 530d: 5.0s) - something totally ok for the increase in size. I am aware I wont be feeling the acceleration as much as i did on teh 330d but I am surely looking forward to teh 8 speed sport automatic which is going to a world better than the old tranny of hte 330d...
