Lightbulb AC Schnitzer F10 5-series Tuning and Cosmetic Program Released

AC Schnitzer has unveiled its full F10 5-series tuning program, consisting of performance and cosmetic upgrades.

Performance Upgrades:
  • 530d power increase to 286hp (41hp gain) via ECU tune
  • 520d, 525d and 535d ECU tune in development
  • Twin sports rear silencer with Sports Trim tailpipes for 550i, 535i, 535d, and 530d (racing tailpipe trim only is available for 525d and 530d models)
  • AC Schnitzer 8-piston high performance brake system. 8-pot fixed calliper (left/right) and perforated, internally vented brake discs
  • AC Schnitzer spring kit lowers the F10 by 25 millimetres
Cosmetic Upgrades:
  • Two front bumper lip spoiler styles
  • Rear diffuser
  • Sideskirts
  • Rear deck spoiler
  • Roof spoiler
  • Selection of 19" and 20" wheels
  • Aluminum cover for i-drive controller
  • Aluminum pedals and dead pedal
  • Floormats and trunk mat
  • Schnitzer EVO steering wheel (with optional CF inserts)

Go look at a Brabus car, 100x's better.

In my opinion the inside and sideskirts look horrible, the front looks ok but not great (that bottom grill thing looks kinda stupid), and only the rear end looks good. The wheels are nothing special, same thing seen before. Not that good of a job on ACS's part.

I feel like ACS and Hamann's prime time ended when the E46 did. And even looking back at them with todays styling standards its pretty crappy.

I used to drool at Hamann Pole Position cars though.
