As far as I know they didn't start building until the first week in September.
I'm expecting mine imminently and will post photos as soon as I've given it the 'Werkstat' treatment.

+1. Most M-sports are probably all still on the boat over.

I opted not to go for the M-sport. No clear word on M-sport heated steering wheel and that back end just doesn't do it for me. Looks like they just enlarged the 3-series boot. I plan on taking the front bumper and side-skirts and putting this on the rear:

I received a phone call from my dealer, informing that my new touring, 520 M Sport will be delivered next week.

Yes I need more Pictures to help me make up my mind about which color to pick. I've never been so indecisive about anything! its between AW and Carbon Black with alittle Titanium Silver every once in a while. I'm picking up my car NOV 12 which means I have about 1 month before production begins so everyone post pics of you Msport ASAP.

Those M-sport wheels are quite uninteresting. The E60 gen wheels were definitely more harmonious with the sporting image of the M-sport package.

Interestingly in the UK i have spoken to three dealers about when they are getting in a demo i can go see (as mine is not even in the country yet) and all three said they would not be getting any Demo M-sports until at least November as all M-Sports have been purchased already... although one agreed to call me when the 3 he has on order arrives

My 520d M Sport has been on order now for over 8 weeks and still another 5 to go. Should be being built in week 50 but seems to be taking an age. Did I hear correctly that UK 5 Series are being prioritised due to the VAT increase?
