F10 and the Brothers //M-sport.

It has been a long wait (ok, six weeks but still) and in the yard, the family has a new member for the roll of big daddy. My F10 is Dark Graphite with Everest Gray interior and pretty much every option except HUD and rear DVD so if you have any questions about an option, just let me know. Also (finally) pictured are the Brothers //M-Sport. More info about them will be posted in the 3-series forum. Sorry about the way the images are posted. I have no idea how to make then go under each other instead of kicking out to the right.

Congrats on your new addition. It's a beauty.

PS : your license plate is still visible in the side mirror :-) (or maybe you changed some digits ?)

I fiddled with the digits. Normal Paint shop to boot

Nice pics.... And I think I'm going to take the plunge and order a 535xi by the end of the week -- not happy that there's no 6-speed manual available. 2008 535xi loaded, and I love the manual.... If the 2011 had a stick, the order would have been placed a while ago.

Curious though - why no HUD if you ordered all other options? I have it now and would never order another car again without it.... NightVision on the other hand was a waste - doesn't work when it's foggy, barely works when it's raining, and it's just one more place that you have to look.

Are those 18inch or 19inch wheels?

I might get flamed for this but I prefer the F10 SE to the M-Sport

There is 'just enough' lip with the stock bumper to fit the bracket in the mouth instead of on the face. The screws are coarse-threaded and self-tapping so hold tight and let the power-driver guide it in.

I thought the stick was standard and the 8-speed auto was a no-charge option. Only charge is if you want paddles. I didn't get HUD because in the demo car I drove, it was barely visible with my polarized sunglasses.

Those are 19" wheels. They look a lot bigger than the 18" BBS wheels in my garage. Having two other M-sport bumpers in the family, I would consider taking just the face off of the M-sport kit, but the M-rear is horrid.

Had an 08 with HUD. Had polarized sunglasses. Got rid of the polarized sunglasses. Well worth it. HUD is my favorite option on the car. The new one on the 2011 is better than the old model. Very interesting displays when exiting freeways.

I've tried non-polarized lenses. Might as well not be wearing anything with my eyes, got a lot of glare and flares. I'll keep my Oakley's

I know and that is planned. My rule has always been no modding until after break in, not even cosmetic.
