A- Pillars - What grade of steel do they use?
Hi guys,
Does anyone know what grade of steels do BMW used to make their A-Pillars for 2011 5 series cars? Is it any different from 2010? I found on a site that they use UHSS, HC1000w but I have no clue what grade of steel it is? Is it alloyed with carbon, boron, or Al? http://www.steel.org/AM/Template.cfm...ONTENTID=38294 Any help is good. Thank you |

Series 360 hot rolled coil stainless, hot dipped galvanized, with only 0,135% of high ferrochromium alloy. The steel is purchased from mittal underva 3 year contract ....
