My new 525 dAM - touring

Today I took delivery of my 525 d touring

Nice to be back with BMW, my last BMW was a 328Ci -00. But the car I came from now was a VW Passat Variant R36. Here's a pic from the dealer and the spec, better pictures will follow in the gallery.

, first mod was the black kidneys. For summer I will buy 19 or 20 inch wheels. Next week I will have the paint polished and sealed by Mr Cap. Other then that I have no special plans.

I have ordered a X3 35i but am going to change it to a F11 335i.It feels more like a BMW

The X3 is too much Subaru for my taste, lots of road and engine noise.
It's not comparable to F11/F11 in any way.

Congrats, it looks really nice. My friend took delivery of her white F11 520d last week, at the same spot! The F11 is really the best looking estate out there today. Just stunning with the M sport package.

Thanks Rob, but how do you navigate - via the iDrive, do you get a pointer?

Just seen your pictures, looks like you control the pointer and have options down the left hand side.

Yes you use the iDrive, when you are on the page you get a pointer and if you need to enter an address or go to your bookmarks etc you just move to the far left and you get in to the menu structure. To be honest I don't see myself using it a lot since I can just aswell do it directly on the iPhone..
