Horn Sound

Does anyone else think that the horn sounds a bit crap on the F10?

All my previous BM's have had the same good meaty dual-tone horn - wheras the F10 seems to be a bit pathetic by comparison. Maybe there is something wrong with it

Perhaps it's better sound insulation. It is dual-tone and I'd be amazed if the sounder was a different part number from any other in the range.

Do you not notice that it is a completely different tone to your 3-series?

If you reckon not - then there is definitely something up with mine!

Yes I hate my F10 horn - no matter how lightly you tap the button you get a loud uncivilised blare. My 330 and previous BMs were fine. The last car I had with such an vulgar horn was a Vectra. What have they done with it?

Yep mine's just like that and I'm sure they all are then. Must enquire with the dealer.

Does anyone know the location of the horn? I want to replace mine and I can't seem to find the damn thing!?!
