Awesome vids!

They at least leave no question that it can handle the winter driving conditions up here.

According to the ESS supercharger thread the M3 DCT is rated for max 420 lb-ft of torque. Not sure if the dct in the 335 is the same though.

As I and countless others have said- it is silly to speculate that the DCT will be the same unit; there have been a good number of units that can handle more torque and in a smaller package since the M3 got its unit.

There are also ways to manage torque to lessen the immediate hit on the drivetrain.

As per my previous post/thread and then some:

Seeing this video gives me promise that the F10 M5 will maintain a visceral feel and sound comparable to the E60 M5. More so, if the F10 M5 is an instant success (I'm presuming it will be as us BMW fans will learn to adapt to the changing climate), then the F30 M3 can only benefit further from development. If the F30 M3's I6 FI engine can possess a level of responsiveness comparable or even equal to a N/A engine, I will gladly embrace M division's new design philosophy. Traditions are great to adhere to, but change is inevitable and sometimes necessary.

No, most likely won't be cheaper than E60 M5. The regular F10 5-series is more expensive than the E60 5-series so there's little chance the F10 M5 will cost less than its predecessor.
