BIMMERPOST NEWSF10 Interior and Exterior Explained by Designers The F10's interior design Olive Heilmer and exterior designer Jacek Fröhlich explain their inspirations and philosophies behind their designs for the hot selling F10 5-series. As the video explains in more details, the F10's interior drew inspiration from fine watches and the exterior goes after a strong and muscular impression, drawn from images of BMW's motorsport heritage and Munich's surrounding mountains. The looks of this car are timeless BMW. It, and the F01, are setting the design trend for the next generation of BMW's to come.
It's honestly one of the biggest reasons I didn't get an E61. Well, that and the N54... |

I just did a full detail on this car. And when I mean full detail, I mean it took 3 days. There are a lot of angles and shapes on this car that are not obvious unless you are trying to mask it up or trying to use a polisher on it. The creases on the side , make the car look stunning, and also make it really hard to polish. Same goes with the hood. The hood is basically 5 panels.

It's very hard to design the interior of a car. It has to be comfortable, controls have must be in just right, government regulations must be followed, space is limited, it has to look good, and there is often a design message which in this case is luxury and a bit of sport.
I could really dig having an F10, especially the 550i or M5.

Awsome
That is two really awsome inside looks... Hands down the most gorgeous business sedan on the road.... And by the reviews, also the best by far...
But is it cold in the BMW Welt, or what's up with the scarfs? ![]() |
