16 inch wheels ????? can i ?
I just bought a 2011 528i
i had a 2008 328i with a set of 16 inch winter tires on nice alloy wheels does anyone know if i can put proper size tires on those 16 inch rims? w will that fit on the car? ![]() |

omg why would you even consider such a thing? please tell me you're not really considering doing that to your F10! here we have everyone trying to upsize from the factory 18" and you are trying to go down? i dont see the logic

Winter Only i know i would never do that to my F10

Brochure photo suggests that maybe it can be done.
Hi, appreciate that you live in a part of the world where practicality overrides cosmetics. In answer to the question you asked... can it be done? Take a look at page 5 of this BMW Accessories brochure and caption 10 for snow chains. That tyre / wheel combo suggests that it can be done. Why don't you take that pdf to you dealer and ask them?
