Zoom/Full Screen mode for media Playback?

It appears to me that if you play a physical DVD in your F10, you can choose "additional options, zoom mode" and watch the movie in full screen.

However, when streaming video from external devices (Iphone 3GS) there is no zoom/full screen mode available - so video takes up only 1/3 of the NAV screen.

Is this a limitation of the external devices feature??

I have 2011 750li xdrive

The video playback on the rear screens is perfect.

Now, it does preserve its aspect ratio.

If you are running on front monitor make sure split screen is off.

On the front monitor I agree there is a lot of surrounding black space.
