Kastanienbraun? Strange, chestnuts used to be red in Bavaria. Or did they change the chestnuts in the last decades?

This color was called Kastanienrot.

Deep Sea Blue ("Tiefseeblau metallic") is no individual color. It's standard in Germany.

Yes this is done by some strange German scientists which develop brown chestnuts for the automotive industrie, because this color is cheaper to mix then the red one!

It's the color of the leaf. If you look on chestnuts in the fall, the leaf can have different colors. Early fall they are more red and later it points more to brown. The basis für "KastanienBRAUN" ist brown ("BRAUN") and the basis for "KastanienROT" is red ("ROT"). So nothing strange here...

But it's not available with the m-sport package, so I guess that's why it costs extra.

Monte Carlo Blue and Singapore Grey are for the M5 only.

My dealer told me not to chose Havanna. It is not the new white, it is the new Marrakesh Brown (X1). Beautiful first but boaring a few months later. They had to sell many Marrakesh brown X1s with a high discount.

unless of course it's anything M Series or an MSport tricked up tastefully. It needs to look like it can back up the WOW factor, otherwise it looks like 'car porn' (imo).
