Was the drone too much and unbearable (at around 1500 - 2500rpm) ?

I had the Dinan on my E60 535 and the drone gave me a big headache in just a week of drive and had to take it off and sold it very cheap.

It wasn't too bad, actually. Interestingly enough, after taking the exhaust off and going back to factory, I noticed the factory exhaust has a "drone" at 1800rpm as well. I think what's happening is that the aftermarket exhausts are just making that sound louder. It was not ear splitting by any means - and rarely heard, as I always drive the car in Sport mode -- my wife just complains about any sound, and she drives the car as much as I do, so I relented.

The worst drone I'd ever heard was Fabspeed on my 06 Carrera S; it was so horrible, I turned back around and had the shop take them off.

That's why I would not look at any exhaust mod , instead, I would rather spend it elsewhere, like coilover, tires, rims, etc.

Different part # - as per Magnaflow website

Therefore, should not fit, unless you are to do some modification to the different section of the pipes
