As much as I don't like frozen black or frozen silver, I really like frozen gray for some reason. It might even be my favorite M5 color and if its not its really close. Those white tail light are awful, however.

Hi, guys.
Some of you might remember me from when I posted a thread about a dealer's mistake when ordering my M5. Finally everything was sorted out and I have the car just as I spec'd it. The car is Individual Frozen Grey, with full Individual leather in Silk Grey and Piano Black trim. It has every option except CD changer, backseat monitors, Nightvision and speed limit info. I got delivery of the car about 3 or 4 weeks ago, but I have been traveling quite a bit lately and I haven't had the time to drive it or to post pictures. Meanwhile, I had the wheels, front grilles, side gills and trunk letters blacked out, in the same Piano Black finish (gloss black that is). I really prefer the look of the car now, I hate chromes, even more on a matte finish paint. I also painted the chrome on the door handles to match the body color, looks much better now. About the driving experience, I like to think of myself as a quite spirited driver, and I'm still in the break-in period so I don't really have much to say apart from what is already known to public. Very powerful car, you can feel it's weight but still manages to be agile, I like the gearbox, the steering matches the character of the car, very comfortable. You never get the sense of speed in it, that might be the only downside I can point so far. Brakes seem to be okay, but like I said, I haven't really pushed it that hard so my opinion is limited. Future mods being considered are lowering springs, Akrapovic exhaust and remove the speed limiter. After the break-in I will share my opinion regarding the driving experience and performance. Below you can see pictures from when I picked it up and after the mods. Regards! |

Black wheels and clear tail lights are an absolute No on the F10 - just my opinion

Official FROZEN GRAY F10 M5 Photos Thread
I took delivery of my latest M5 yesterday (which means I now own 2 M5s on different continents!)
The 2014 car feels mostly the same as the 2013 which means it's fantastic. The car gives you a sense of total superiority on the autobahn, and also in the mountains. I drove mostly narrow windy country roads today and it was absolutely amazing. This car is perfection embodied! The slight tweaks to the steering are also excellent - while subtle, you do feel a little more connected with the 2014 model. It may also be to do with the smaller diameter M6 steering wheel that the 2014s have. I love the bright LED headlights. And the freakin sound of the machine (makes me wonder whether my $6000 Eisenmann exhaust was worth the cost! - I'll have to reassess that when I get back. Most of all I love Frozen Grey. To me this color, more than Pure Metal Silver, leaves the impression that the car is chisled from a solid block of steel. It's like a modern art sculpture. Definitely my new favorite BMW color for the F10. Specs: The full specification is: Frozen Grey Individual Silverstone Full Merino Leather Piano Black Individual Trim Executive Package Drivers Assistance + Package 343M 20" wheels LED Lighting Package Bang and Olufsen[/QUOTE] Will post more pics tomorrow.

After day 1, I checked into the hotel and went downstairs, where I was able to intercept 2 beautiful German women and join them for a fun dinner conversation and dessert.
The next day I awoke to this beautiful view from my balcony at the Grand Hotel in Kitzbuhel: Then I pulled the car up front to load my luggage and cameras. Then I began a drive across Tirol on the B171 all the way to Arlberg Pass. I seemed to stop at many churches to confess my speeding on the B roads. Then I came across the Arlberg Pass. The receptionist had called several people to check the roads were clear before sending me to drive the pass on summer tires. Then I arrived at the Liechtenstein border, where I was unnecessarily delayed while the border guards inspected my paintwork, I mean passport. I took the opportunity to snap a Cocaine White interior pic for those that requested it. Then I arrived at Vaduz castle in Liechtenstein.
