BMS Jack Pad Adapter - Review
I just received my BMS Jack Pad Adapter. Their website doesn't list the F10 fitment, but the BMS guys said it should fit. The width and length are 1/4" and 1/8" smaller than the F10's jack pad cavity. However, the height is perfect and the circular base doesn't touch the edge of the plastic jack pad (which is good, so you can't tear up the jack pad while jacking the car up). Just wrap the adapter with 1/8" worth of electrical tape if you want a tight fit, otherwise it should work just fine out of the box. BMS says it should be a loose fit anyways.
I used this on my 535i and E70 without any modification (electrical tape mod). It worked perfectly. This is a made from solid anodized black biillet aluminum and made in the U.S. of A. I highly recommend this product for our F10s, especially with the 3T jack from Harbor Freight tools. ![]() Last edited by JNoSol; 05-06-2012 at 09:26 PM. |

I've just been using this. Seems to work but obviously this is a better fit.

Nice setup. I've seen guys making these with a hockey puck.
![]() With the BMS Jack Pad Adapter, the circular base will not touch the plastic jack pad (about 1/16" gap). This will relieve stress off the edge of the plastic jack pad, which cracked on me w/o this solution. |

You don't have to modify it, I just like it snugged. BMS says it's meant to have a little play in fitment. Reverse Logic's seems to be a 2 piece, while BMS is a single block of Billet Aluminum. They both will work just fine.

The color threw me off. I thought the BMS was rubber, didn't realize it was anodized aluminum. Definitely need to get two of these, as I have 2 floor jacks and 2 Bimmers.
