Anyone in the UK fitted ACS or any other lowering springs on their F10
Seriously looking at fitting lowering springs on my F10. Fed up of seeing that massive gap between the wheels and the arches....Has anyone else fitted these in the UK? If so please could you let me now where you got them from, who fitted them and did you speak to your dealer about warranty issues etc. Any assistance is appreciated...

Not done it but planning on going for the Eibach Pro's. At £105 it would be rude not to!

Well they turned up this morning... opened the box and there's only one pair of springs in there (look like the fronts). Absolute muppets. I've emailed them now but it's knocked my plans to fit them this weekend completely out.

This is their response - does this sound right? I've never even checked under my car to see if it only has front coils:
Good afternoonI have spoken to 'EIBACH UK', thats correct they are front springs, most f10 5 series have air suspension on the rear, hence only two springs. But there are some models with no air (which is unusual), if you do have that type, we will need to have the kit returned and organise a 4 spring kit. Reagrds Emma@e-parts.co.ukcustomer support |

Yep, they are muppets for sure. Anyways thankfully it's freepost return so a trip to the post office is in order I guess.
I'm guessing this is the correct one for my car: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3208151142...84.m1423.l2649 |

So got my money back for the wrong springs, and after some arguing (they were adamant that their info comes from Eibach and therefore there was nothing wrong with their listing - until I pointed out that their ad shows a picture of 4 springs, and they only send 2) - they have since removed the listing for the wrong kit.
The actual kit (apparantley its the right kit but i have little faith) is around £200.. I haven't decided now whether I want to go for it so will ponder it over the coming weeks.. If anyone does go for this mod, please do post up the results and share your thoughts. |
