Vredestien Tyres

When I was looking for tires for my Pantera a couple of years ago I came across a tire brand called Vredestein. They have a performance summer tire called the Sessenta, it's kind of a directional tire. Everything I've read about this tire is great and when I was looking it was considerably cheaper too.

I never did get these tires for the Pantera, I found a set of rims with tires for too good of a deal to pass up, but I was wondering if anyone in Bimmerland has used these tires and what did you think?

I'm not wanting any - at least right now.

I just wanted to know if whoever has run them would run them again.

Check the M3 section. There was a thread on there comparing them to the more expensive Michelin tires and guys seem to like the Vredestien.

My buddy has them and he likes them. I'm just not a fan of tread pattern. You see it very clearly when he's driving in front of me.

In the UK tires website, this was ranked last in terms of overall performance vs the big boys, like Michelin PS2, GY Asymmetric, Conti, etc. It did okay in the dry but got hammered by others on the wet rating.

I have owned the vredesteins on a e60, e90 and f10 - in all three cases, i was happy with the tire. The nice thing about the vredesteins are that they are comparatively wider than the contis, dunlops and others.. the 245s are more like 250s....

I have run these on my MB E55, BMW F10 and Jeep SRT8 and love them. I would highly reccommend these to anyone...great tire for the money....

These were the best tires I've purchased so far. Had them on my 350Z.

I had these tires on my Audi S5 I previously owned before I bought my F10 ... Overall it was a great tire for the price and handled well on turns, I'd definitely buy them again in the future

I used these on my e90 and thought they were awesome. Much more cost effective too.
