Say hello to my little friend

I know this is off-topic on the 5-er forum, but this is where Im active, so I show you my latest BMW I got yesterday.

A 81 323i, 102 000 km. Sunroof, Recaro seats , rear headrest and power steering, a rare combination on that model. Original paint and almost rust free. Looks great and pure driving pleasure :-)

These are the photos from the advertisement, I will make some more shots with his big brother, the F11.

That thing is in stunning condition, the seats look immaculate and the Alpina rims really set the exterior off.

Thank you all !

I have been looking for a car like this for a long time, and when I saw it on the net, I just had to get it!

When I was a child and saw a E21 for the first time (BMWs were not so common in those days), I was stunned, it looked so great and futuristic compared to other cars at that time. At that moment my fascination for BMW began, and it has never ended.

Having an old car is a nice hobby, spending time surfing the net looking for parts, seeing what others are doing or read old "how to" manuals. Doing some small work on it and enjoying riding it, and talk to other people with the same interest. I will recommend everybody to have one classic to take care of and enjoy. Its very rewarding.

And the best thing, its not loosing its value, like my F11

Congrats on this awesome find - I hear you - my fascination started with the 2002Tii - I'm also looking for one - the prices for fully restored examples have gone thru' the roof...but, I'm hopeful to find an original '69 to '72 at a decent price some day....

Those who seek will find :-)

Check out mobile.de , autoscout24.de or autotrader.nl, they have a good selection. Its probably many companies that can import it to USA for you.

I did the first two modifications: Clear indicators and a nodding-dog some of us remember from the 70-ies :-)

The F11 is dirty, I know, I returned from vacation last night, but now its clean, I promise!
