2013 550 Now Has 445 HP

Tomorrow I'm trading in my 2011 550 for a 2013. I'm assuming this power increase is entirely just a change in the mapping for the engine. If that's true then I'm assuming that it's an irrelevant change if I wanted the stage 3 from Dinan. Meaning the current stage 3 would still work just the same and have the same end result as it does on the 400hp 550s. Can anyone confirm this?

The 2011 has the same hp as the 2013

Not from factory, according to my dealership they upped it this year to 445 hp. Same engine, different mapping.

No. You dealer is wrong. the bump of hp is more than remapping of software. It's the valvetronic added to the engine.

Only true of change in hp if you ordered a 550GT
