Anticipating iPhone 5 Compatibility Feedback

I am overseas for work, my new iPhone will be waiting at my PO box for me when I return in a few days. Meanwhile all I can do is scour the internet for info on how integrated the new phone will or will not be with current versions of the CIC.

I know initial theories suggest 'iPod out' will not function due to lack of analog output (without the adapter which no one will have until October). However, no one knows for sure until someone is the first to plug this phone into the USB port under the armrest!

Please post when your phone arrives! Thank you

Got mine and it works fine without the new lightning adapter for the regular ipod cord. Have just plugged mine in to the USB and it popped up into the idrive and works just like my iphone 4 had on 9/20.
