Is it safe to hand wash velour floor mats?

I wouldn't risk putting them in the washing machine, but the spray-and-brush method never gives me decent results. Is it safe to hand wash the BMW velour floor mats- i.e. completely submerged in lukewarm water with some mild detergent? Thanks.

I have always hosed down mats, brush the stained areas, and hosed them clean. Then leave them out in the sun to dry. Never had an issue. I'm sure they will be fine. Just make sure to let them dry completely before putting them back in your car to prevent a mildew smell from being produced.

try folex...agitate with a soft brush and blto dry with a microfibre...
