Garage List
I have similar probelm but everything works fine so far. Some newer cradles are equipped with fans but mine is not. I guess the fan is used to solve this issue.

Yes same with mine, I had it for my iPhone for a year or so and always gets extremely hot, not sure what the issue is but I think it's happening to everyone with the cradle we aren't the only ones having this problem, next time I'm in for a service I'll talk to my service advisor about this

Mine gets hot, I have an iPhone 4, no S and my cradle has the fan. Other than getting a bit warm it seems to work ok.

I'm having the same issue with my cradle and it has the fan. I'm thinking of taking the the whole thing apart and try to tap into the A/C vents to see if I can divert some cool air to the cradle. I know that I may have to make a hole next to the cradle to keep it cool but it's better than driving with one of the arm rest flap open.

I'll keep you guys posted.
