is the f10 535 slow?

I'm about to sell my e60 535xi and get an f10. however, im concerned that even with a jb4 it still wont be fast enough. Has anybody gone from a e60 jb4 535 to an f10 535 with jb4? the dyno sheets ive found only show the f10 putting up around 310 even with meth and a downpipe, which seems a little on the low side. will I not be satisfied? Any advice is greatly appreciated im stuck here and have no clue what to due.

535i tuned is making less power than the 335i tuned with the n55 engine. I read this on the bms forums. Go with the 550i... that way you aren't getting smoked by v6 Honda Accords... example:

to everyone who responded I appreciate the input. I actually test drove a 550 m sport today along with a 335 m sport and s4. the 550 was really fast but i felt disconnected/insulated from the car and the road, I'm sure this could be fixed with and exhaust and springs. The 335 felt very zippy, and the car looks great, but i didn't care much for the steering feel and the interior felt a little cheap, at least compared to the 5 series. The s4 pulled the hardest and had a great interior, but obviously wasn't nearly as comfortable as the f10, not to mention the conservative, almost boring design that audis have. Guess I have some decision making to do.

If you can find ActiveHybrid 5, it is faster than 535, and better gas mileage.
I just got one to replace my 528, and I just installed BMS Stage 1 on it. It is a crazy hybrid.

All from car and driver:

Accord coupe V6 (stock not like in the video)
3410 pound and 271hp / 254 tq (1/4 mile 14.5 average)

2014 BMW 535I xdrive
4187 pound and 302 hp / 295 tq ( 1/4 mile 13.9)

2008 BMW 535I xdrive
4042 pounds and 300hp / 300 tq (1/4 mile 14.0)

I slightly modified 535I F10 xdrive (JB4, downpipe, 93 oct) should be faster than most even modified accords. But the fact remain than even if stock for stock F10 535I are equaly fast as previous gen 535I the N54 was getting better power gains for bolt-on type of tuning.

If you want to be slightly more powerfull than V6 sedan get the 535 with Jb4 but if you want to dominate most sedan (exept M cars, RS cars and 63 Mercedes) get the 550

If you are even asking this question the answer is Yes! That's not to say the 535 isn't a great vehicle or even that it's slow, however if you want performance out of a vehicle this size that's not what the 535 will deliver. If you like/need power and speed save yourself the disappointment and go for a 550! Just my opinion of course! Good luck with your decision!
