Idrive error message: Full performance is not available

Has anyone experienced this iDrive message "Full perfomance is not available and to drive at a moderate speed. Contact dealership for more details". If so, how was it fixed?

I'm glad there were other responses stating what I was thinking. Clearly the issue with your car could be any one of a thousand items in the engine or car as a whole and only a dealer has the kit to examine it properly to inform you correctly.
