I changed to K&N air filter once I got my car, but some ppl said it was harmful to the air flow and and the air flow sensor , cos K&N filter is oil type, not dry type ! Is it true ?

Is it oil type? Take it out and check. I was gonna change one but did not. Don't think it will harm your gear though. Any performance gain? Some said not much so I just hold.

Not true. Brand new is only lightly oil. It's meant to trap the dust n dirt.

Suddenly I want to take apart my air filter and scrap some parts for k&n that came with it and then maybe buy a new one @.@

for lower engines you will feel the gain on the pick up. For higher engine not much but I do know that the Engine will have a little deeper sound than before.
I just change it to save the earth coz no need to change filter for 5 years, just clean every year on oil change.
