condensation/moisture inside xenon headlamps

Hello, noticed alot of moisture inside the headlamps so took the car to bmw to have a look at it after which they said this is normal in xenons as they are vented and due to the current cold weather it s not clearing as quickly as it normally would. Is this true, does anyone else have this with xenon headlamps?
Thanks

If yours are similar to mine as shown on pics, then it will go away after couple of months.

Hi,

Yes this is quite normal. I had the same on mine and dealer said it was normal and nothing to worry about as the vents on the lamps will cause a little condensation to form. Mine does go away after driving the car a bit and lights after lights are used. Dealer did however say that they have logged this so that if it does cause a problem later they will be able to sort this out.

I just had mine changed by BMW under warranty (expires in two weeks) as there was a small condensation issue. Whilst the condensation came and went, and the technician said he did not see anything wrong with them, there was an ever so slight moss like substance making an appearance so they went ahead and changed them anyway. I cannot fault them, they were very helpful.
