DOWNPIPES F10 535i

I know this is probably a total newb question but do I need one pipe or two?
I went to burger tuning and at checkout it said two.
Anyone heard of Benchmade proper making a downpipe?
I have a muffler delete set up, the sound is great, constantly get raves about the sound, so do you guys think I should go catless (too loud?) or high flow catted downpipe?

Two options so far

AR design
Dr. Euro

AR has catted and non catted. It's around 770.
