Woohoo! Don't have to wait til oct now for stage 2!

Anyone gotten the $500 performance suspension done? I'm curious how much it would effect the somewhat smooth ride in have now. I know it has benefits (tighter, eliminate body roll etc) I just wonder on a daily driver if I would regret it?

Yep - picked up my 2013 550i m sport xdrive right from the dealer with pre-installed Dinan suspension, free flow exhaust, and the S2 - last fall. They didn't have the S3 for 2013 yet at the time I picked the car up - which I can do now for about $200, but I'm told the intercoolers plus the S4 is worth considering. The Dinan folks tell me the intercoolers on the stock version are too small to begin with in their opinion. I guess it depends on how long you want to keep the engine healthy if you're inclined to push it like I do. Plus its a daily drive car for me. With regard to the suspension - in my opinion it is the best value of all 3 modifications at $500. I'm a bit biased because my previous car was an M3, but the stock 550i suspension was too soft and had too much roll on turns. No great sacrifice in comfort with the new suspension, but way better feel.

I had the springs done and I really like them. The car used to float now its planted.

As for the exhaust, I want an upgrade. How does the Dinan one sound? I removed the mid pipe, BTW.

Yeah I am gonna do the Shockwave suspension now and the intercoolers and Stage 4 when I get back from deployment. Anyone else with Stage 4 and Intercoolers installed feel like giving an update/testimonial? Does it make a difference with the car that you can tell? Right now I just have Stage 1 so probably will see an improvement or so one would hope.
