F10 service book??

Hi all,
Buying an 11 plate f10 from a bmw dealer, does anyone know if they come with paper service books as the dealer says its all digital on their computers now?

My 61 plate F11 has a service book, its a thin white book and it shows the pre delivery service stamp. Not had a first service yet as my annual mileage is quite low I would however expect a stamp when it is done.

About 12000 think it is saying service in another 6000 or October.

The salesman told me there was no service book as it's all on computer now - but when I opened the folder with the Owners Handbook, there was a BMW Service booklet in there, stamped and dated with the pre-delivery check. Maybe they're planning to phase the booklet out?

Dave, the car im looking at has done nearly 27k and not had first serv according to dealers computer, but obviously they will be doing it now as part of prep.

Can the digital version be accessed by us or does bmw have to print it?

red - i think they are, problem is what do you do if you want to use non bmw service when you want it sell car its hard to prove.

Re 27000 miles, what is the car saying when you start it. Also look on Idrive, you can see its service status there. The interval is variable according to use, mine s a 520d is yours a petrol perhaps they have longer service intervals.

I didnt get a chance to look, but dealer says from key read it is due oil, oil filter and another filter either now or in 3k (which they will do now for me) theres no record of any prev services on the dealer computer so its its first. its a 530d prev keeper possibly driven lots of motorway milege, its a 11 plate but 27k on clock.
